Divna Beach detail
Divna Beach detail
Divna is a beautiful cove on the northern side of Pelješac peninsula - and this is also the name of the islet next to it. There is only one road leading to it, one has to leave the road to Trpanj and to drive by Gornja and Donja Vrućica and down on the serpentine road to reach the bay. Then, this same road goes to Duba Pelješka and the asphalt ends there.

Its location, the turquoise sea and the 200 meters long gravel beach make Divna a popular place. It's also a popular day trip destination for those who make their vacations on Pelješac. During the high season Divna can become crowded - Perna Bay just a couple hundreds meters west of Divna might be considered as a B plan (although not as attractive as Divna) or even the several hundred meters long gravel beach of Duba Pelješka - you can most certainly find free space on this latter location. One can leave the car on the road side at Divna - while there is space left for that. Paid parking is available by the camp - the daily fee was 10 Kunas in 2012.

Those who like to stay close to nature can even choose Divna as their vacation destination - a small campsite called Divna is located by the bay and the coast. Besides the camp there are only 4 or 5 houses in the whole bay. Snacks and drinks are available at Divna Bar, the only catering establishment at the bay. There are no groceries, however, fresh bread is delivered daily for the guests of the camp. Shops, restaurants and bars are all located in Trpanj.
